Between the lines
The unit treats a wide range of conditions, from asthma, bronchiolitis, and RSV to dehydration and post-surgical recovery. The space itself was built with young patients top of mind, favoring a softer, more welcoming design over a typical clinical setup.
What’s next
HCD leadership and the Davis Chamber of Commerce marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the hospital’s main entrance.
