The UHA 2018 Fall Leadership Conference is set for October 3-5 at Zermatt Resort and Spa in Midway, Utah.
UHA is pleased to once again partner with Utah Healthcare Executives in offering a full-day, Category I ACHE credit program on Wednesday, October 3rd. This year's program features remarks from Dr. Jonathan Burroughs on "Leading through a Changing Environment: Focus on Population Health." Thursday, October 4th will feature a meeting for rural UHA hospital members during the afternoon and the UHA Annual Awards Dinner that evening. The Rural Hospital Council will convene at 3:30 p.m. and excellence in healthcare administration, quality and nursing will be recognized during the dinner program, taking place at Zermatt's conference center at 6 p.m.
Friday will offer a morning of educational sessions focusing on the behavioral health crisis affecting healthcare delivery in our state. The program will start with a keynote presentation by Jennifer Tomasik, SM, FACHE, and two local panels discussing the crisis from a provider, public health and community perspective will follow.
