Now in his 13th year as CEO, Holt is being recognized with the Distinguished Hospital Executive Award for leadership that colleagues describe as forward-thinking, hands-on and deeply rooted in care for the community.

“It’s an honor on behalf of all of these people for what we do in health care, in our efforts to try to make the world a better place, to try to make people’s lives better,” Holt said.

That progress is continuing with the construction of a new hospital. The facility will replace an aging building and provide a more secure foundation for broader services and high-quality care in the years ahead.
