The big picture: As Thanksgiving approaches, the Utah Hospital Association wants to recognize the caregivers who make round-the-clock care possible in every community across our state.

Why it matters: Hospital work requires extraordinary dedication—extensive preparation, ongoing education, and the commitment to be available 24/7/365, regardless of holidays or personal schedules.

The bottom line: Healthcare work is a calling. It uplifts entire communities, offering care and dignity to every person.

“The work that we do in a hospital, it’s a noble work. It’s a it’s a good work. It’s a it’s a compassionate work. It’s a courageous work,” says Jason Wilson, President of American Fork Hospital and incoming Chair of the Utah Hospital Association Board of Trustees “It’s something that lists everybody in the community, regardless of their background, regardless of where they’re coming from.”

**What they’re saying: “This holiday season, thank you for what you do. Thank you for being available for the community. Thank you for your preparation and your dedication to serve the community. And God bless,” Wilson says.

Our thought bubble: To every caregiver in every hospital across Utah—thank you. We’re grateful for you this Thanksgiving and always. 🍁
