As Thanksgiving approaches, Utah Hospital Association President and CEO Francis Gibson wants to say thank you to healthcare workers across the state.
“Every day, you show up for patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments,” Gibson shares. “Whether you’re at the bedside, behind the scenes, or leading teams, your compassion and commitment make a real difference in the lives of Utahns every single day.”
Gibson knows the work isn’t easy—long hours, emotional weight, and the constant pressure to deliver excellent care. “Your efforts don’t go unnoticed,” he says.
“For those caregivers who work and serve our communities on Thanksgiving day, may I offer special gratitude for working this day.”
His message is simple but heartfelt: “This Thanksgiving, I wish you moments of rest, connection, and time with the people who mean the most to you.”
“From all of us at UHA—thank you for all you do, and happy Thanksgiving,” Gibson says.
The bottom line: Utah’s hospital caregivers show up every day of the year. This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for their dedication to serving patients and communities across the state.
